We got a lot of great feedback from attendees who came to TLOV 2009 and 2008.
I enjoyed the conference very much. You had some great speakers, and everything ran like clockwork. You and the other folks at CAA who worked on it should feel very good about it. You have very quickly built it into one of the movement's premier events.
Norm Phelps, author and TLOV 2009 speaker
Congratulations on your amazing success! The conference was one best animal conferences I've ever attended, and I've attended many in the 19 years since becoming vegan, and a few before then as well. I don't think any event in the Midwest has ever come close to something like this. Conferences of this magnitude and quality have largely been isolated in the northeast and the western coastal states.

I plan on coming next year and bringing more people. This conference is very high quality and should be experienced by even [those] marginally interested in animal welfare.

The only "negative" part of the weekend was departing Minneapolis. I predict that the Midwest Animal Advocacy Conference will grow in size and stature, becoming one of the "must do" events of the year. I'm glad I was able to be at the first.

TLOV left me with more energy than any other conference I've been to. The high-caliber speakers delivered not only useful and interesting info and views, but also humor, and hopeful and joyful messages. I also appreciated the atmosphere of warm and respectful camaraderie, the low cost, the great food, the good variety of topics for both beginners and "veterans", and how smoothly things ran. It was impressively well-planned. I was amazed to discover that this was the group's first conference.

I just wanted to send a quick email to thank you for inviting me/COK to CAA's first national conference and to congratulate you and everyone there for putting on such a professional and inspirational event! I was truly impressed with all the amazingly dedicated volunteers. You guys really have a great thing going.
