Registration is live; Final Keynotes Confirmed

03/17/10 12:08 PM by Dave Rolsky

Registration is live, so please go ahead and buy your ticket. Please consider registering as an individual sponsor to support the conference, if you can afford to do so.

Also, we have our final keynotes confirmed. Zoe Weil of the Institute for Humane Education and Erica Meier of Compassion Over Killing will both be giving keynotes at TLOV 2010. Also this year, Compassionate Action for Animals will have a keynote slot (hey, it's our conference, why not?).

Call for Speakers is live

02/23/10 02:37 PM by Dave Rolsky

Our Call for Speakers is live on the site, and we are accepting submissions. The call is open until midnight on March 26.

This year, we are accepting proposal for half or full day classes to be held on Friday, as well as our usual shorter format talks. These classes will be available for an additional fee to attendees, and the fee will be determined by the speaker. This is a great way to offset the cost of travel and attendance. We hope that these classes will provide practical skills training for attendees who are interested in becoming better activists.

02/07/10 08:34 PM by Dave Rolsky

We've just confirmed Carol Adams as one our keynote speakers, and we're very excited to have her join us at TLOV this year!

We've also confirmed several more speakers, including local activists Mary Britton Clouse of Chicken Run Riscue and Christine Coughlin of Minnesota Voters for Animal Protection.
