This talk will examine the importance of writing restaurant reviews on sites such as VegGuide.org. The talk will not only highlight the benefits of writing reviews for the veg. and veg-curious community, but also ways to write effective and memorable reviews. Some benefits include:

- increased awareness amongst veg*ns about where to eat
- getting good recommendations on specific dishes when you dine-out
- warning other veg*ns about potential pitfalls and issues at certain restaurants
- informing restaurant owners about what they're doing right or wrong
- increasing restaurant owners' awareness of vegetarian and vegan market demand
