Vivisection: To Make Matters Worse for Farm Animals.
Each year in this country alone, billions of animals are killed for food. This is followed by millions in the lab. Factory farms are benefiting from animal research--transgenic animals provide the way for them to kill more for food.
Research labs perform experiments on live chickens, turkeys, and ducks in which they are subjected to experiments for the benefit of the meat industry.
This talk will show the links between vivisection and factory farming and how the two industries profit, and benefit off each other.
Covered will be:
* The financial connections between animal research and factory farming--who is paying for what.
* The business benefits of animal research and factory farming--how both are benefiting from each other.
* Looking at how promoting veganism is reducing animals killed for food, and how promoting anti-vivisection is reducing the number of animals killed for food.
