Teaching Compassion is a program dedicated to raising awareness and cultivating respect for animals and the environment through compassion-based programming for children, grades K-3, and early childhood educators. Amy will introduce the different classes offered in this program - which range from understanding the inherent value of such creatures as bees and ants to demonstrating the impact that children’s literature may have on children regarding how they perceive and treat animals and the environment.
