Although many animal advocates find it difficult to communicate their views to Christians, Christian faith and tradition favor an animal-friendly ethic. Indeed, a growing number of animal protectionists ground their activism in their Christian faith. I will discuss why this is so, suggest ways to reach out to Christians, and offer thoughts on how to deal with common anti-animal Bible-based arguments.
