Erin Williams, co-author of /Why Animals Matter: The Case for Animal Protection/ and communications director for The Humane Society of the United States' factory farming campaign, will give a presentation called "Speaking Up for Farm Animals." Her talk will provide information on some of the worst factory farming abuses and offer good news by addressing the exciting recent advancements for farm animals in the United States. She will also give attendees ideas on how to most effectively take action for farm animals, whether it's participating in the legislative process, reaching out to companies, or spotlighting animal issues in the media---as well as making humane, sustainable food choices.
