The presentation will be an overview of Bridges of Respect (Bridges) and how effective humane education can be. After introducing myself and Bridges' work, I'll demonstrate an activity we often use to introduce the topic of battery cages in the classroom by asking for two volunteers. I'll refer to some recent successes of Bridges then, provide a short sample presentation and detail about our technique. Before the Q & A I plan to discuss the educational outreach efforts of industry and conclude with how to get involved in humane education locally or back home.
