Taking Political Action for Animals: A Panel Presentation

The panel will focus on taking political action for animals. Specifically, it will focus on the creation of new public policies that afford greater protection for animals from suffering.

Goal: The goal of the presentation is to provide the audience with an increased awareness of:
1. Why political action for animals is necessary
2. How humane laws, rules, regulations are passed
3. Common challenges to political action
4. The need for humane candidates in office
5. What small and big steps an individual can take to politically protect animals
