For over 25 years, The Vegetarian Resource Group has made it easier to be vegetarian and vegan by assisting businesses, food services, food companies, supermarkets, health professionals, students, media, and consumers. Our dietitians and researchers answer questions with scientific and practical help. VRG offers two $5,000 scholarships for high school seniors who actively promoted vegetarianism, ingredient info, meal plans, foodservice ideas, restaurant guides, poll and market research, Vegetarian Journal magazine, Parents’ E-mail list, brochures such as Vegetarian Nutrition for Teenagers and I Love Animals and Broccoli Coloring Book, materials in Spanish, and books including Simply Vegan, Vegan “Seafood,” and Meatless Meals for Working People.
We had a number of great food donors who help keep the cost per attendee way down. Without them, we either have to forgo providing food, or spend a lot more money.
